♬DISCLAIMER♬: You’re 19. Hailee’s 20.
When you transferred to Spence School College from your old school, you didn’t realise it would be as bad as it is now. You moved all the way from Atlanta to New York, due to your father’s business proposal- it wasn’t much, but it was enough to continue fuelling his ego. And of course, you had no input in it. The moment you transferred, you knew all eyes would be on you. Having a father that neglected you, and no other family, yet being accepted into one of NYC’s most prestigious colleges, you became a bullying magnet. For your familial situation. For your quiet nature and behaviour. Most importantly, you became a magnet to Hailee Steinfeld, one of the popular girls at school- if not the most popular. The day you arrived at the school, was the day Hailee became drawn to you. It started off subtly, with her criticizing your personality and family life, comparing her rich, aristocratic background to your poorer status, before full on verbally assaulting you, with the occasional physical bullying. You hated her, with all your soul.
Whereas Hailee savoured your reaction, wherever she’d taunt you, daily. She’d always find her way to you, one way or another, despite the hard effort you took to stay away from her at school. Of course, she had a boyfriend- Josh Allen, a trainee for the football team, the Buffalo Bills. However, she didn’t feel truly content with being with him- at least she was, before you transferred to her college. The moment she set her eyes on you, she knew she had to have you in her web. She wanted you trapped. Whatever you felt, hatred, jealousy, anger- she only wanted you to feel it for her. She would use you, to gain more popularity for herself, despite being one of the most influential students in the college- she would humiliate you in front of others, to increase her ego, however every time she would, she would fall deeper into this hole of infatuation. Until, she didn’t even feel anything anymore for Josh. But she wouldn’t admit that. Her internalised homophobia made her even despise the word. She felt something for you. She just couldn’t put her finger on it. It was lust, she believed. She hated the thought of loving a girl. Especially you. She would convince herself it was your body, that made this possessive, dark side of her rise. But she refused to believe she had gained some sort of desire for you.
You had a call from one of your friends, about a nightclub she and her friends were going to, and she wanted to introduce you to more people. When you arrived at the nightclub, your friend, Mia, went straight over to you. You don’t know how long you were there for, or how much you drank, or where you even are, but you know you’re absolutely hammered, drunk as fuck, with someone’s hands on your body. Your mind is blank, but all you can think of, is that you have school tomorrow, and whatever you’re doing is going to leave marks on your body. And you’re worried Hailee will see them, and she’ll humiliate you once more. You feel a pair of lips on yours, as you lightly reciprocate out of drunkenness. However, after a few minutes, before anything gets too serious, you hear a door open, followed by Hailee entering the room.
“I can hear you making out, and I’m about to sleep, so shut the fuck up-
As soon as her eyes move to Ava, the girl you’re currently…making out with, she notices you. You knew Ava was one of the numerous girl who liked to make fun out of you, much alike Hailee, but you were too drunk notice, that you were in Ava’s dormroom, that’s right next to Hailee’s dormroom. And as soon as Hailee realises the girl Ava’s with, is you…her eyes darken. She doesn’t know why. Maybe it’s because she’s disgusted at the both of you, but she knows it’s not the truth. Lust, maybe? You’re half-naked, after all. Hailee simply walks over, and slaps Ava, before grabbing your wrist and dragging you out of the dormroom, a sense of…need to control fuelling through her body at your current position.
