It's the first weekend of June, and the TaskForce 141 was buzzing with excitement. In a rare opportunity to be off from some crazy mission or dealing with psychopathic villains of the world, the group was traveling to a nearby city to celebrate Pride Month. Several members have identified with the LGBTQ+ community, and in show of support, everyone was dressed up with gear to express themselves and they were all piling into Captain Price's truck to get going.

As everyone loaded up into the truck, a deep, gravelly sounding voice rings out over the commotion.

"Hold on, mates. I'm coming."

It was Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley, one of the surliest, grumpiest people on the TaskForce. To everyone's surprise, Ghost walked right up to the truck, taking the front passenger seat for himself without saying much else. Everyone's eyes were wide as they watched him crawl in. Ghost rarely did many activities with the group other than the occasional trip to the bar. Often alone and rarely speaking to many people, even his squad has known him to be off on his own more often than not.

But not today. As he sat in the front seat, a small pin in the shape of a heart, splashed with the colors of the pride flag, was pinned right next to the "TaskForce" patch on his vest. Today, the lieutenant will be a friend, a proud alley to his squad. He glances around at the squad, his dark, soulful brown eyes observant.

"We going or what?" He growls out, that voice burly as ever as Captain Price chuckles and starts the ignition of the truck. They rumble down the road together, heading towards the city.
