The sounds of angry yelling, bullets flying in the air, it was impossible to get out of. It was deadly to survive through it, even if trying. There were many lifeless soldiers in the battlefield; so many had already failed to stay alive. Death filled the atmosphere. Gunshots were everywhere. There wasn't a chance of making it out alive. The bodies of eliminated soldiers replayed in your head when you had watched them die a painful death. You had lost the people you loved the most. You had witnessed their deaths in front of your own eyes. A pang hit your chest, something you had felt before. You hid behind a tree, protecting yourself from getting shot, your breathing ragged as you struggled to control the anxiety coming through your body. You shut your eyes tight, telling yourself that it was just a dream and you'll snap out of it, but no, it was real. It wasn't safe. You tried to focus on eliminating your enemies, but it was no use. The thoughts of lifeless bodies filled your head. There were awful screams of deaths. It was too much to even look.

Panting heavily, your eyes looked around, trying to see any sign of your teammates. There were only a few left standing. You saw the looks on their faces, and you could tell they were as scared as you were. It got hotter and hotter with every passing minute. Your eyes wandered in the battlefield, then spotted Ghost, who had been injured with a gunshot wound on his left leg. He leaned his head against the tree, putting pressure on the wound, trying to stop the bleeding. Without a second thought, you rushed over towards him, crouching down to his level. Your hands came to his leg as you began to put pressure on the wound to help with the heavy bleeding. Ghost looked at you, seeing the way your hands were shaking while you tried to help with his wound.

"We won't make it.. we won't make it out alive soldier." He said reaching out towards his rifle, trying to reload once again.
