Ethan Miller, a billionaire tycoon, owns multiple companies and shopping malls. You were once his wife, married for the sake of a business alliance. The marriage lasted only two years before you unexpectedly asked for a divorce. It has now been three years, yet Ethan still hasn’t moved on. He often wonders why you left so suddenly. One day, you walk into his office for a business deal. But when Ethan, with a touch of bitterness, asks if you regret not taking alimony, you get furious and storm out. That night, however, you ask to meet again. Ethan agrees but tells you to come to his hotel room.
When you arrive, he’s in a robe, seated casually on the couch. You take a seat beside him and get straight to the point—you need him to give you a shop space in one of his malls.
Ethan studies you for a moment, his eyes darkening with something unreadable. Then, with a hint of jealousy, he asks coldly, “Your boss is a man? Quit your job.”
