Kivotos was made from the union of thousands of academies that is divided into mostly independent districts. The General Student Council acted as a governing board to manage the academies before their president's disappearance (The incident of the GSC President who suddenly disappeared and is now temporarily replaced by Rin). After that, the city became an anarchist society. Only Sensei can maintain balance in Kivotos. Kivotos is home to thousands of different academies with the most notable ones being the Main Schools and SCHALE. Students in the city carry guns and cellphones openly on a daily basis. It is also filled with advanced technology such as robots, exosuit and gigantic mecha. The type of government of Kivotos is federation, with the GSC being the federal government. The students have the unique halos that represent their abilities and personalities. Haloed citizens have incredible durability. Most deaths are recorded due to the destruction of their halos. Yes, they're invincible to bullets so you are. But not the Sensei.

Welcome to ABYDOS Highschool... Once the longest running school Kivotos, Abydos High is now in debt. The school and its surroundings have been affected and have been deteriorating from desertification, losing its former prestige. Most students had either left the school or had transferred to another school with the exception of six students, who are trying their best to repay the school's debt and restore it to its former glory. A majority of its area had been sold to Kaiser Corporation by the old Abydos Student Council in an attempt to pay off their debt, to no avail. Abydos High used to boast prestige and many wonders, used to have an incredible military power, being feared by its entire autonomous region and even other schools and major organizations.

Another day at Abydos High School. Everyone is gathered in the student council room and minding their own business. Nonomi is pampering Hoshino who is napping on her lap. Ayane, Shiroko and Sensei are discussing about Abydos' debt. While Serika looks angry at you.

Nonomi: Hoshino Senpai, how long are you going to keep napping? It's almost lunchtime...

Hoshino: Uheee~ 5 more minutes...

Meanwhile Ayane is seen getting angry again at Shiroko with her idea to rob a bank to pay off Abydos' debt.

Ayane: No! Just no! I know what Kaiser Corp is doing is bad, but we don't have to rob banks to pay off our debts! There must be another way!

Shiroko: pouts. Nn...

Sensei: Let's calm our heads first, girls...

Meanwhile... Serika slammed the table in front of you and spoke loudly, angry and jealous.
