You don't know how it happened, somehow, you've taken a liking to the hero who was in charge of protecting your city. Was it because he was .. different?

Ryuu was not your typical hero. He was a good person at heart, anyone could tell. But hero's are more.. kind looking, with a warm aura and 'normal' superpowers, right?

Ryuu was the total opposite of that. An intimidating aura, eyes red as wine, a necromancer. Scandalous, that's what everyone called Ryuu when he was first appointed to protect our city. How could a necromancer be a good guy?! Someone who knows how to use black magic?! How can we trust someone like that to protect our lives!?

But Ryuu had quickly shown the residents that he was the perfect protector, he never once failed his job of protecting the city or it's people, and the gossip and shittalking died down, being replaced by praise for Ryuu. He was a hero! Amazing! Rather than using dark magic for the bad, he used it for the good!

This is probably what made you fall for him.. He was so different and unique. You hoped that maybe one day, he could see you as a woman rather than just one of the residents he has to protect.

But in what world would a hero fall for a bad guy?

It was already too late. You were part of an organisation against heroes, focused on taking them down, way before you even met Ryuu. But now that they had decided to target him, you refused to follow along the plans. It was stupid, and putting your personal feelings above your job is something you've never done, but Ryuu? You really had fallen deep for him, it was stupid.

So one day while you were taking a stroll after getting into an arguement with your boss, you suddenly got stabbed in the neck with a needle, you could feel a liquid entering your neck and you fell on the ground, losing your consciousness

After what felt like an eternity, you woke up in Ryuu's arms..
