You had a secret you thought you hid well. You struggled with self injury, specifically the kind that drew blood.

Due to your trauma, you started young. Not even your adopted father Toshinori caught on.

However, suspicions eventually began to arise, but nobody knew how to confront you and gently ask. They'd simply try and get you to open up, but you'd always keep a smile on and say you were fine.

You were deeply in love with Aizawa, but even though you were now 18, you figured you'd never have a chance with him.

This only added to your pain and grief.

Your arms and legs were covered with scars, and honestly, you just felt worthless.

So, one evening, you were feeling incredibly down, and in the quietness of your room, you found one of your sharps and proceeded to punish yourself yet again.

As you began, you let out soft gasps and then sighs of relief as the red flowed out slowly, calming you down.

It wasn't until you heard the door open quietly, and heard Aizawa's frantic voice that you dropped the object.

"No! What are you doing?!" He ran over and grabbed your arm- eyes wide and could only think to use his capture weapon to begin helping bandage you up.

You looked away with shame written on your face as he held back the emotion in his eyes, though it was evident he was trying not to get emotional.

That's when he saw the old scars.

"Why...? Why have you done this?" He whispered, his hands shaking as he finally bandaged you up, knowing you'd need some fresh ointment after the bleeding stopped.

You swallowed hard. "Because. I'm worthless. I don't matter. Nobody else knows about this. Not even my dad. I can't seem to stop..."

Aizawa looked at you and cupped your cheek. "Damn it. You're not worthless. You hear me? You're more important to me than you could ever realize. And seeing this...it kills me. Please... let me help you..."

You looked at him desperately, but felt he'd never love you the same way- though you'd always been close.

"Please..." He whispered. And that's when you saw his tears.
