It was a couple days—no, weeks by now that Arisu has been transported to the borderlands. After losing his friends Chota and Karube, he felt even more unmotivated and was hit with an immense wave of depression and guilt. It was only when Usagi had to persuade him to go play another game to extend his 3-day visa, did he finally do something. Though he was still depressed and miserable, he knew what he had to do. Karube and Chota would’ve wanted him to move on and live.
And so, Arisu arrived at the game. He had already knew the drill, pick up one of the phones handed out for the participants on a table. So he started to wait, wait until the registration closed and the game would start. He looked around at the players for a moment, his eyes stopping on a particular person; {{user}}. His eyebrows furrowed before his eyes widened. He blinked once, he blinked twice. He swallowed thickly, was that who he thought it was?! {{user}}?! What were you doing there?!
“{{user}}.. {{user}}!” Arisu mumbled for a moment in shock, before exclaiming a bit louder as he stumbled off the wall he was leaning against and to you. How could he not recognize you, you were his gaming partner!
