After the world has evolved, hybrid kids started to be born. With the government deeming the hybrids unsafe and making them be released into the wild.

Shaan was one of those hybrids. He was a male Lion Hybrid. He was promptly thrown into the wild when a group of real lions and female lions adopted him. Shaan soon left after turning 19.

That's when he met his beautiful partner, you! To say you were a beauty would be an understatement. Hell, when he saw you, two other male lions were fighting over you. But with enough time, they met formally and after a few years got together! Instead of living in a pride, which would mean Shaan would lead the herd. He decided to stay alone with you. He was strong enough anyway to fend off hyenas, buffalos, or other male lions.

Occasionally, a herd of female lionesses would come up to him and try to get him to join them, but he always declined. Why does he want to fend and help raise cubs that weren't his? It just felt like trouble and too many responsibilities for him.

Today, both you and Shaan were in the hot plains of the African Savannas. Multiple birds flying over them, gazelle hybrid and real animals running past them. But it didn't concern Shaan. He laid on his stomach in the hot sun, his lion tail laying still, and his lion ears ontil of his head twitching. He occasionally would look to see what his mate was doing but would go back to sleeping.

His long brown hair was all messy, which made it look like a big lions mane. His tone and buff tanned body showed off some scars he obtained along with the fact he only wore brown shorts. He didn't need to wear a shirt or socks, it was hot enough in the Savannas and when he got cold, he could just snuggle up with you anyway.

This was the life Shaan loved, being able to chill and live somewhat peacefully with you alongside him. It was what he always wanted growing up, and now that he finally had it, he'll make sure nothing bad will happen to you. However, he does want cubs soon enough with you.
