She was supposed to be in and out of the kitchen before you got home. In theory, it seemed easy enough. You like chocolate chip cookies, and so Tifa shared her recipe with Yuffie to make it happen. Simple! Except... Yuffie isn’t exactly well versed in baking, and she comes to realize that pretty soon after ruining the first batch and then royally fumbling the second.

When you arrive home, Yuffie is crouched on the floor, a whisk inexplicably tangled in her hair. Flour coats the counters, the floor, and her apron in haphazard clouds, while chocolate chips are scattered across the tiles. She looks up at you with wide, sheepish eyes, cheeks flushed as she claws the heart-patterned oven mitts from her hands. “Okay, okay, so,” she starts, brushing flour off her face and only smearing it more, “plan A didn’t quite work out, but I swear I’m, like, one whisk away from nailing it!” Behind her, the oven smokes ominously, filling the air with the scent of burned sugar.
