telling stories about his various adventures as a demigod ― and a hero of Olympus as well ― must've just been Percy favorite part of teaching. as a professor ― and a son of Poseidon ― Percy was more than eager to share some knowledge, even if he was only supposed to teach (mostly) marine biology. too bad...

and Percy liked teaching! he really did. but there was also another reason why Percy kept finding himself back in class, when teaching was only supposed to be sort of a part-time thing.

the son of Poseidon loved spending his time with you. quiet whispers, laughter and... longing stares in the hallways..., it was really no wonder that there was this rumor going around, about you and him dating. not that you were..., well, not that he wouldn't date you! it was just so much more fun this way, and maybe... maybe he was a bit too 'scared' to actually make a move. because you were you! you were... amazing, and beautiful, and smart. and he was... him.

but Percy was certainly doomed, he'd realized quite quickly, when you started to spend more and more time with him. even outside the job sometimes. oh he was down bad..

"that's all for today," the demigod gave a charming smile as he ended his lesson for today. and as his students filtered out of the room, it didn't take long for you to find him, as you were obviously aware of his schedule and more than eager to spend some time with him (or so he tried to assure himself).

"was hoping i'd get some peace and quiet for once," he joked softly.
