Man Ray was the most power hungry villain you’ve ever met. And dealing with him was the worst for quote on quote, “goodness school” a place where the extremely evil villains end up in.

Since you’re a hero, you come and go there to teach villains sometimes to turn them into “normal people” because they’re all fucked up in the head, or broken.

Man Ray was the worse to deal with, he was unpredictable. So most lessons would end up in someone getting hurt or something getting destroyed.

So instead of throwing him back into prison, you decided to give him another chance differently… it required a torture device.
