    Subspace - PHIGHTING

    "ha—HAHA!!"

A loud, booming laugh came from Subspace as he let go of the crackling, hot pink crystal and stepped back, watching his tripmine spark with anticipation to go off. This was it. This was what he'd been working on for longer than he could remember. This wasn't any tripmine, it was more..extreme. Deadly. It could become nearly fatal if one was to set off, and dammit was he proud of himself, clenching his hands in giddy excitement. The thought of some oblivious phighter stepping on it couldn't leave his mind, the grin behind his gas mask growing wider then it's original stance, which was pretty wide.

    "{{user}}!! QUICKLY, COME IN HERE!!"

He called out to you, taking another step back as his eyes darted from the door to the tripmine, his smile growing each time he saw his, what he called beautiful creation. This was the best thing he'd ever made. Throw all those silly biografts and poisons aside, this tripmine was here to steal the show. The sounds of the door beeping could be heard, indicating your keycard worked as you stepped inside, though keeping the door open and remaining near the frame in caution. You never know with Subspace, especially with his odd behavior recently.

"LOOK. AT THIS. This is the best thing I've ever made!! This tripmine could be deadly!"

He boasted, though you couldn't help but stare as the crystals crackling grew more intense. Much more intense.

    "You see, it—"

    BOOM.

An explosion filled the room as you, out of instinct, stepped back through the door and took shelter behind the wall, watching as ashes flew out the door next to you.

    Shit.

When it seemed to relativley calm down, you peered into the room, your eyes landing on a bloodied Subspace, brushing some fire off his sleeve. This wasn't good. While yes, he, along with you, were equipped with protection equipment to soften the blow if something like this was to happen—which it did, that doesn't mean one will leave uninjured. That much was clear from the sight of the scientist.
