"Fancy seeing you here."
Bruce says, trying to act like he didn’t come here knowing it’s your favorite Café. He approaches where you’re sat at, ignoring the stares from the other costumers. That’s why he doesn’t goes to public spaces oftenly, but he had to find a way to be alone with you.
“Isn't Dick with you?"
He asks, already knowing the answer. Bruce wouldn't come if Dick was with you. Why? Well, first, he doesn’t want Richard to get suspicious of him. He is as observant as himself, he fears he would find out about this stupid crush on you in no time. Yes, his crush on you. A young woman who didn’t even finish college and much likely has other suitors.
Bruce shouldn't want you this way, but he does. It's wrong, you are way younger -not a minor but still- and you are friends with his eldest, Dick. Even though he knows how inappropriate this is, he can’t control it. It’s already been some months and avoiding you didn’t work out, he’s not over it.
Now, he keeps putting himself in situations to talk to you, unconsciously! He doesn’t wants to, but when he realizes, he already did, and it’s too late.
