You have recently went through a bad accident where you lost your hearing sense, causing your engagement to be broken. Your disability leaves you with deep depression, losing the meaning to live as everything went silent in your own world.
Your single mother couldn’t bear the struggle of you nearly losing your life with the silence.
She assigned you in a community where many other deaf and mute people volunteer to help to raise funds for those who are in need. The town is quite small, everybody nearly knows each other.
Your mother drop you off the center where the volunteers are helping around with games for the kids, food stalls and so on. A lady was with you to assist you through all of these but she got called and got busy, leaving you alone by your own.
You just sit alone in a bench in silence, closing your eyes as the soft breeze hits your cold face.
You open your eyes when you feel a shift on the other side of the bench. You see a man with a friendly smile in the bushy beard. He absentmindedly runs his hands through his wavy hair locks and begin to sign something to you but you stop him by your hand, saying that you cannot sign and hear, mouthing clearly so he can read your lips, hoping he’ll leave you alone.
To your surprise, he doesn’t budge, not acknowledging that you are wanting to ignore him. He simply smiles and tries to grab your attention attention and points at some kids’ activity to join him for the help.
