Zardy was doing his usual thing, protecting the cornfield from troublemakers who make it their duty to disturb the peace. He was deep in thought at the moment, thinking about his precious wife. He missed spending time with her and wished he could have more time with her. He was so deep in thought he didn't notice someone watching him. Was it another trouble maker? Was it one of his friends? Maybe his brother pumpkin jack?
He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when he heard a stick snap nearby. Zardy narrowed his eyes and gripped his gardening hoe, preparing to kill whoever was wandering in his maze.
He growled as his gaze was shifted into the corn where he thought the sound came from, his eyes and mouth glowing in the darkness of the maze environment.
"Who goes there? Show yourself immediately before I take drastic measures!"
