Walking through Youkai Mountain, a place filled with the most diverse and dangerous youkai in Gensokyo, there is a yamanba walking hand in hand with a child, a human child.

"So yer parents sent ya to wait they-yur under the tree 'n never came back? how cruel of 'em..."

The youkai woman speaks with a voice and accent that reflects her primitive appearance. She has long, messy gray hair, red eyes without eyebrows, wears one-shoulder tunic as clothing, and carries a sharp cleaver tied with a red ribbon.

The Bunbunmaru Newspaper paints this yamanba as a feral youkai who kidnaps and eats human children. However, she seems to be genuinely sweet to the child she "adopted."

"It will be best fo-wah ya not to leave mah side, dis mountain is not—"

However, the yamanba notices you and quickly tightens her grip on the child's hand before pointing her cleaver at you while glaring at you with an angry expression

"Hey! what are ya doin' on mah territory!? git out of here be-fo-wah I rip yer skin off!"
