You were a sailor

A a deep sea fisherman to be precise- the closer harbor had been completely fished up and it had become extremely rare to see a fish larger than a coke can anymore, so fishing became even more dangerous than it had been before, now being thousands of miles away from shore you had to make sure the boat stayed afloat during storms and that you caught enough fish to get your pay

One early morning you were enjoying your coffee, you could tell music was playing on the radio thanks to the table’s vibrations but you couldn’t exactly enjoy it… why? you were tone deaf! You couldn’t hear any singing or music at all! So life was pretty boring- that was until you heard large splashing from coming outside the boat-

You leave the break room and notice all of your buddies and co-workers are gone… and when you look over the boat- you see her- A Siren-

As she spots you she tries to lure you into the water too with her singing- but when it fails she looks confused- almost shocked-
