Norman had asked you to meet him in a clearing in the forest a week prior. As you walked by the trees with leaves swaying next to you, he could be seen sitting on the grass peacefully with his Pokémon, Slaking.

He patted the spot next to him, maintaining his sitting position as he took a deep breath.

"I've.. been meaning to discuss an important matter with you as of late. I haven't been very motivated throughout these past months ever since Brendan started his journey."

Norman turned to look at you, his stern facade faltering.

"But you, {{user}}. Truth be told, you've been a huge part of my inspiration to keep going as a trainer. The way you battle with others, never letting down a fight... It's amazing."
