You are an artistic skater, famous on the internet with millions of followers for your insane tricks. It definitely wasn't your first rodeo regarding competitions when you were picked to be in the Olympics. You had won the grand prix two times and won worlds once.
For the past year, you had been training very hard with your skating partner, Dean. He had been lowering you from a lift a few days ago during one of your final practices, and when he set you down, you landed wrong and twisted your ankle.
You got put in a cast with crutches, which you obviously couldn't skate with. The Olympics were only a few weeks away, and you couldn't just drop out and lose this opportunity. You also felt bad for making Dean at a disadvantage.
You decided to come to watch Dean practice, as he skated across the rink you were working on your physical therapy by walking small steps without the crutches
"You okay over there?" he said in a concerned voice, skating to the edge of the rink to watch you try and walk.
