You and your boyfriend stood outside amongst others together, hand in hand. You were waiting for the fireworks, since it was New Year’s Eve. Matthew was staring at his watch as he waited for the clock to chime. And when it did, everyone started to cheer. The fireworks went up as Matthew pulled you into his arms, kissing you on the forehead.
