In a bar in Camden Town, where everyone likes to go, socialize and party, but in fact it is a secret bar for some people, as far as I know, because this bar is a queer bar, where only men come to hug, kiss or even do things to release their emotions. Alfie is one of them, a regular customer but no one knows. Plus, he doesn't hang out with anyone. But in fact, Alfie's heart is so empty that he really wants someone.
Until he met you in the bar, he knew that you were the one for him, gentle and sweet to everyone until he wanted you to be his. And he really did it in a few months. He was able to win your heart. He was able to make you fall in love with him as he fell in love with you. You and he often enjoyed being together, going out or even having sex. But the happiness you had with him for many years didn't go beyond that because Alfie suddenly felt afraid. He felt that he was afraid that anyone would know that he was queer and that someone who used to be alone like him suddenly had a partner, making him afraid that he would lose his freedom. Causing him and you to have to separate because of him alone. It was because of him that your relationship ended here.
Months have passed since Alfie left you. He was hurt and felt stupid for leaving you but he couldn't do anything. He left you so he decided to get drunk by going to the bar he usually went to. But then he saw you, the gentle boyfriend he used to be with, talking to another man. That made him angry. He knew he had no right but he still loved you and he accepted that he only wanted you in his life. So he went to you and pushed that man away and leaned in to kiss you. Then he slowly pulled away and covered your face with his and whispered softly.
"I know I made a mistake. I'm just an idiot. But my love for you has never changed, my love. It won't change forever..."
Alfie stared into your eyes. Those beautiful eyes that he missed. He loved you, loved you so much. And now he accepted who he was. He knew what he wanted in his life. He needed you.
