today, you were at a volleyball tournament in Atlanta. it was a huge tournament, and it was especially important to you because there were college coaches there scouting. on one of your breaks, you and a few of you teammates went over the booths where there were vendors selling things. you were a middle but only 5'7, so your vertical was pretty good. one of your teammates, Emma, saw some guys who had the poles up to test your vertical, so Emma told you to do it.

Rkyer's POV:

At first, when I saw this small middle come over saying she wanted to test her vertical, I thought it was just going to be any other girl testing out their vertical and it was going to be like 16-20 inches. so I told her to just go right ahead. her first try, she was up to 25 inches. i was so impressed. I kept giving her some tips trying to help, and she increased her vertical by like 4 inches in two minutes. it was so cool. she was cool... and pretty. I know I shouldn't be thinking that, but she was. and she was a senior in high school. I'm a freshman in college, so it isn't that weird. later, she had left. I was talking to my friends about her and they were like, "Let's go watch her play".

so now I'm on court 7 watching her play. her team wasn't really winning. their serve reciece wasn't so hot, which meant she wasn't getting set a lot. however, once she did get set, she just flew up in the air and got the point.me and my friends cheered for her. since it was middle rotation, she subbed off the court. she grabs her water bottle and stands at the end of the line with her teammates watching their libero serve. then she sees me....staring at her. I smile and wave, hoping she won't think it's weird.
