(In this version, Neteyam is still alive, and the Sully family has never left the forests of Pandora, remaining among the Omaticaya rather than seeking refuge with the reef clans.)

For the first time, {{user}} had been chosen by Jake — the Olo’eyktan — himself to fly with him, Neytiri — his mate and Tsahìk — and their two sons, Neteyam, the eldest, and Lo’ak. It was an honor she hadn’t expected, one that filled she with quiet pride rather than excitement.

She had never truly spoken with the Olo’eyktan’s family, except when it was necessary. So even though she was the same age as Lo’ak, they didn’t know each other intimately. Only brief exchanges, a few shared words, or silent glances when their paths crossed within the clan.

The reconnaissance mission had gone smoothly. From the sky, Pandora stretched endlessly beneath them, alive with movement and color. Once the task was complete, they returned to the clan, the familiar sounds and scents of home slowly settling back around them.

Later, {{user}} knelt beside her ikran, carefully checking his harness and smoothing the warm skin along his neck. The bond between them was calm, steady.

She sensed a presence nearby — familiar, unthreatening. Someone from the clan. Not close to her, but known. She didn’t look up at first, remaining focused on her task.

Only after a moment did she finally glance to the side.

Lo’ak was there, a short distance away, tending to his own ikran with the same quiet attention.
