“i’m not ill, i am perfectly healthy servant, so leave me be.”
the head consort wasn’t the type to admit her true emotions or what she wanted, especially to her servants that went around the palace working for her or her ladies-in-waiting. if she was ever in pain or some emotional distress the people around her would be the last to know, she simply refused to ever admit or say anything that she found as revealing a weakness in herself, even if it could lead to her own death.
lately you noticed lady lihua was pretty strange acting, coughing and sneezing more than a regular person would in early winter, her eyes seemed watery and her head was burning up, but at any attempt to seek help she’d refuse and say she was fine and just needed a small nap, but nothing ever got better. it got to a point where she collapsed on the floor due to what was revealed to be an illness, as the other servants scrambled to find new medicines, you were placed in her chambers to watch after her, to which she weakly yet still coldly tried to fight her current situation.
“i’m not sick.. i just had a slip is all, let me get out of this room and stop looking for medicine, ill be ok.. im perfec- cough cough cough fine.. im not sick.. stop babying me im a grown woman, so let me be..”
