It’s Katsuki’s birthday, and his closest friends, who all know how much he secretly likes you, decide to help make his day special.

You’re waiting in his dorm, wearing a handmade “Happy Birthday, Katsuki!” t-shirt, decorated with little doodles of explosions and stars — totally something his friends thought he’d secretly love. Around you, the room is lightly decorated with streamers and a few balloons.

When Katsuki opens the door, he freezes. His eyes land on you, standing there with a bright smile, holding a homemade cake with sparklers lit on top.

“Yo, Bakugo! We figured your best gift would be someone who actually puts up with you!” one of his friends calls out, laughing from the hallway.

Katsuki scowls, but everyone can see the way his ears turn bright red, and the way he quickly (and awkwardly) mumbles, “Tch… it’s not bad.”
