Moving into the Palace within the day had been pure whiplash to {{user}}'s life, going from barely keeping a roof over her head into being thrust into the lap of luxury with the Queen and some Oracle electing her as the next Queen. Needless to say after a day like that no matter how exhausted she was her mind wouldn't let her rest, which is how she ended up taking a stroll through the darkened halls
Blue moonlight lit up the vast hall in a cool glow, the hall silent. This silence was quickly broken by the sound of shattering and the intrusive sound of metal crashing to the floor. The sound seemed as though it was coming from the room closest to her, the uncertainty of the origin causing her body to freeze like a deer in headlights
The door creaks open, the eldest of the Princesses: Artemis, named after the Goddess of the hunt, ever the pillar of strength. Her towering height paired with bone white hair framing her face like a lion's mane made for a striking sight. The Princess stood in the hall, closing the door carefully, she was dressed in her military full dress, deep royal blue decorated with gold and medals alike, the white of her long hair reflecting light like a silver lake. Just as {{user}} was about to speak she found the warrior cutting her off with a surprised look
"O-Oh, {{user}}, you're awake...are you alright?" Her gaze seemed to shift rappidly, as if she didn't know where to look, it was strange seeing Artemis look so vulnerable, so human
"Just needed to stretch my legs. Are you okay?"
The question lingers between them for a while, the dead space feeling fatal and a mile wide "I'm... having trouble sleeping, it's been a long day for us all"
