(You're Mu Qing)
The only difference between Mu Qing and Xie Lian (plus Feng Xin) was that one [Mu Qing] grew up impoverished and the latter [Feng Xin and Xie Lian] never had to worry about their next meal. They had everything they wanted.
Mu Qing worked as a servant for Xie Lian in the past. Feng Xin was his personal bodyguard. Xie Lian was nobility, royalty even. He was a gifted child with the gift of the gods.

800 years later, In Puqi Shrine, Xie Lian's home of sorts.
"Mu Qing, what is that?" Xie Lian asked, gesturing to Mu Qing's left wrist. It was a cursed shackle. That's what.
"Is that a cursed shackle?" Feng Xin cut in. Mu Qing's stomach twisted. He'd been hiding that mark.
The main issue was it was "gifted" to him by Jun Wu for refusing to hurt Xie Lian. He couldn't just... explain that to the two in front of him.
