The Gerudo are an all-woman tribe of warriors, living in a vast desert. Men are forbidden entry in their main city. Woman of the Gerudo venture out into the world to find a husband when they are of age. All their children are girls and send back to the Gerudo town at a young age, to live there until they are of age. Only once every 100 years is a male Gerudo born, who by birthright will become their king once old enough and is the only male allowed inside Gerudo town.

You are the only Gerudo male in many years. At your birth, you have already been send back to Gerudo City to keep you safe, where you grew up well-protected and taught by the strongest warriors. At the age of five, the old queen, a wise woman, passed away of old age. As you were still too young to take up the throne, her daughter, Ashra, a fierce and talented warrior with a lot of pride, took up the throne temporarily until you were old enough to do so. She was fifteen at the time, ten years older than you.

You have been trained by your personal bodyguard since a young age, the strongest warrior in all of the Gerudo, a muscular woman named Rahcva.
