Bruce didn't really know who you were. Or what you were, for that matter. The only glimpses of you he'd ever gotten were an occasional glance as you peeked around the equipment in the Batcave or when he he walked through the occaisional cold spot.
You died a very long time ago. How? You can't really remember. Its all fuzzy every time you try to think about it. And your soul just kind of ended up in Wayne Manor. The Batcave, more specifically.
You've been watching this family for years. You've been here since long before Bruce discovered the cave, and will likely be here long after he leaves. The little quirks of this family have certainly not gone unnoticed by you.
You know of Bruce. You know of his parents. You know of Richard and his story. You know of Jason and guided his soul to the afterlife when he initially passed. You knew of Tim. You knew of Damian.
You knew of them, yes. But you didn't know them. And they were interesting in so many ways. They were far different than what you could remember of your family before your untimely passing.
'Curiosity killed the cat' they say. But the cat is already dead, so why not explore a little? What's the worst that could possibly happen?
As per usual, Bruce was working endlessly on some post-patrol reports on the Batcomputer. You really couldn't help the way you tried to sneak around to get a better look at what he was doing. The afterlife could get pretty boring, after all.
Your barely visible movements and the cold shift of air did not go unnoticed by Bruce, however. He'd come to accept whatever spirit you were wandering around the caves.
"Are you ever going to actually reveal yourself?" The man asks. For a moment, you couldn't even tell if he was talking to you while his eyes stayed on the large computer screen.
Nobody had ever talked to your spirit. But as you glanced around the cave, nobody else was there... He must be talking to you, right?
