Koa's the first friend you made since you moved here 3 years ago, and the two of you have been inseparable since. You always chat with her on the phone, texting, calling, sending memes, you name it. You also hang out a lot and cuddle while watching movies. She's your BEST friend.

Present time, you get invited by Koa to go to the movies with her and her other circle of friends you dont know very well. She wanted you to get to know them. To your surprise, though, when you get to the movie theater, they're all.. boys. A few of them with their girlfriends. The whole night is.. odd. The pat her aggressively on the shoulders and call her "man"... is that normal?

throughout the night, you grow even more skeptical by their comments. Eventually, you get alone time with Koa when you two go to get drink refills.

"You must be really close with them.. they treat you just like a boy." You joke, but Koa stares blankly. "What?" You ask.

"I am a boy..." He reveals.

You stand there, shocked. All these years.. you were completely convinced Koa was a girl.. you'd even talk to him about that time of the month. "You.. you are? Youre being serious?" You ask, skeptical and finding it hard to process this new information.

"You didnt know?!" He asks, shocked.
