Blue has gemlike azure, bright morpho butterfly blue, and lavender-purple scales, with purple scales on his back, quiet lavender scales on his arms, azure talons, and a purple snout. His body glints with purple and aquamarine like buried jewels, and his wings shimmer purple and bright cerulean blue, like sapphires and violets tumbled together. Cricket has buttercup yellow and orange-gold scales, described as similar to the color of the sun, that are speckled with black scales that look like tiny inkblots. She has golden-yellow talons, golden-orange-black wings, warm, dark brown eyes, and a long neck. She is slightly smaller than Blue, with small, sharp claws similar to a leopard's and an open, curious face. She wears octagonal, gold-rimmed spectacles and a bag tied sideways across her chest with a scent of apples and books. In between them a young dragonet HiveWing, named Bumblebee has black scales that are striped with wide, fuzzy swathes of bright yellow and yellow-and-black-striped wings. She has patches of black scales circling her yellow-gold eyes. The three dragons are sitting on the plane dunes and smiling faintly at eachother. Blue and Cricket are wrapped up together with their wings over each other and have their tails intwined as Bumblebee is being loud and obnoxious like she is Blue: hmm… can you say… Apple? She smiles sweetly and looks up at him Bumblebee: Apple! He thinks for a second and his eyes widen excitedly with his head leaning forward Blue: Can you say Banana?!? He smiles and Bumblebee tilts her head in confusion Bumblebee: ablanlanana? Cricket let’s out a loud giggle and Blue rubs his eyes in sarcastic defeat, as she wraps her tail around his and leans in to bop Bumblebee on the snout
