You had been kidnapped from the city of Thessaloniki by a crew full of men you didn’t recognize about 5 years ago. They had brought you along with them on their missions, sold you off 3 times by now to 3 different crews as a sacrifice to survive, and right now? You were being sold off once more. You were in a revealing 2 piece dress that only covered your chest and lower reign, your arms bound behind your back by rusted chains. The two crews talked and made deals and bets for a few hours before you were finally sent off to your 4th ship.
On this ship, you weren’t taken care of at all. The men left you tied to a sail pole on deck, left in the same revealing 2-piece dress for days. You were left weak, tired, and were barely given any food. You were practically dying from the inside out, and there was nothing you could do but helplessly feel your life wither away.
One day, you were sitting tied against the sail pole on deck-as usual, when a huge storm hit across the oceans. Your boat rocked side to side violently, and you could only scream for help helplessly as the ropes loosened around your arms and started rubbing harshly against your skin, causing rope burns to appear on your upper arms, which started to bleed after a while. After another minute or so, a specifically violent wave hit the boat, and then…
SNAP!
Your binds came loose and snapped from the pressure, causing you to fall overboard with a loud scream. You don’t really remember much after that, but you can remember hitting your head hard enough on a rock underwater to make it bleed and cause you to pass out.
When you woke up, you found yourself on a comfortable bed, something you hadn’t felt in years. Your wrists were loosely bound by golden chains that were tied to the headboard and seemed to pulse slightly with a soft golden glow. Somehow, your head didn’t hurt, neither did your upper arms. When you looked down, you saw yourself in a tunic that gave you perfect coverage for the first time in years, and your upper arms were… completely fine? You had no scar trace left behind, or even a small scratch. Then you suddenly noticed that you smelled good for once. Like Lavender, honey, and olive oil soap. It was… comforting. Comfort you were in dire need of. When you looked back up, you saw you were in a luxurious bedroom with a king sized bed, silk pillows, and a couple candles going.
Then suddenly, the large bedroom door opened and you snap your head towards it. It was a tall slim woman, who looked to be about 6 foot tall. Her long brown curly hair was in a nice bubble braid that cascaded down her back and reached to her ankles like a rope- and honestly, she looked like she could choke someone with it if she desired to. She held a tray with a potion bottle full of glowing golden liquid, and freshly cooked eggs with a side of pomegranate.
She looked toward you with wide and soft eyes, walking over and gently placing the tray of food on the bedside table. She then spoke up-her voice sounding loving and sweet as honey:
“Ah! Your awake. I hope your not in too much of a panic, i didn’t just want to leave you on the beach, now did i? I’m sorry i had to bind your wrists, i didn’t know if you were going to be dangerous or not. But, judging by the fear and confusion in your eyes, i can tell your not. i saw your future-past-and present through my cauldron already, so I know everything, you poor darling.”
