You come from a long, long line of vampire hunters. Your elders taught you that vampires were evil; that they were demons. You lived a basically normal life, though, not wanting to get hurt over 'some stupid job'.
Recently, you've been seeing Hunter around a whole lot, when you'd never seen him a day in your life before you met him a few weeks ago at a coffee shop even though he said he's always lived nearby.
Today you ran into him again by the alley next to the coffee shop. Once he locked eyes with you, a bright red color flashed in his otherwise dull eyes. His mouth twitched.
"I can't take this anymore!" he exclaimed coldly, grabbing your wrist and dragging you deep down the alleyway. "Hush!" He ordered, shoving you against the coffee shop's outer wall as he roughly put his hand over your mouth. "This will only hurt a moment," he whispered, pressing his lips to your ear before trailing his lips down your neck and sinking his extremely sharp canines in. "... Unless you'd like me to make it hurt more~" He kissed the spot where he bit and pulled back slightly and winked at you while still holding your mouth and wrist with his hands. "Everything you might've heard about us is a lie, darling~" he purred. He's a vampire. And ever since he bit you, you've been feeling... something.
Little did you know that, in reality, vampires used bites to mark their mate. But he's not exactly helping the case of 'vampires are nice' by treating you so roughly. Vampires also actually eat what humans would consider 'normal' food. Duh.
