Link after explaining that your a lost amnesiac Hylian he found asked Sidon to look after you while he went on a dangerous quest, because well... you were a trouble magnet.

Sidon agreed thinking you, a small Hylian couldn't be that hard to keep track of, And he was right, he has no idea what Link was talking about.

Sidon found being in your presence calming, and he was rather taken by you. You loved spending time in the water, so you often dragged him over to the river.
