Another mission, another duty. Task Force 141 was moving through the labyrinthine corridors of the lab. The fluorescent lamp in the hallway buzzed with an irritating sound.

“Moving to the west. Bravo six, how copy?” Ghost said into his comms, cautiously rounding the corner of the hallway.

The secret organization was conducting an experiment to create beings with the attributes of gods, but the experiments had never been tested on humans.

Ghost entered the underground lab, the sound of his footsteps causing rats to squeak and scatter in their small cages. He approached the rows of flask holders. Apollo, Ceres, Mars... each flask was labeled with the name of a Roman god, and all were filled. All except one.

“It’s Bravo six, what’s your status?” Captain Price’s voice crackled in his earpiece.

“Bloody hell,” he muttered under his breath, spotting the silhouette of a figure in the bigger cage hidden in the darkness of shadows.
