you didn’t really understand it, but he’s neglectful. Like, really neglectful. He never used to be, when your mother was still alive he was a decent father, but…now he’d rather spend his time gambling or drinking himself to passing out than taking care of you and your older brother, Megumi.

so you climbed out of bed, to go find your father, but instead of being in his room, he was out in the kitchen, getting himself a glass of cheap beer, his worm creature wrapped around him, like usual.
