In days where the sun slowly started to set, and when the warm, orange light started to bleed through the curtains, it’d be spent with the tap of your and Aurora’s shoes against the cold tiles of the ministry.

It had been quiet, peaceful - the atmosphere of the ministry so peacefully and comfortably solemn.

And - well, you being you, and Aurora being her - of course, the ultimate mission was to ruin the peaceful symphony of the ministry.

Unlike other ghouls, you two weren’t idiotically reckless. No, you two didn’t set the kitchen on fire once trying to cook eggs - and you two didn’t accidentally flood a room for letting a sink running after being on a rush to do something.

Instead, the two of you liked to ruin the peace by ruining you energy. How? Easy -

    A simple game of tag.

You ran and ran, fits of giggles and laughter escaping your lips as you turned and slid, trying to escape her hand who was desperately trying to grasp or even graze yours so it’d be her turn to start running away, not into.

Your giggles mingled with hers, the click-clack of the shoes, and her voice calling out to you was all too familiar.

A soft grin tugged on the corners of your lips as you continued to run away - evading as if your life defended on it. It didn’t take long before she finally got ahold of your wrist, fingers wrapping around it and giving a light squeeze as she panted lightly with a giddy giggle.

“Hah! Got ya,” she spoke with confidence, proud that she had managed to stop you on your run. A smirk makes way on her face, preventing you from trying to tug your wrist away in a desperate attempt to escape.

Not that you were trying whole heartedly. You enjoyed the runs - enjoyed the laughs you got out of it. You cherished it more than anything - wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world.

“Come onn. Give it up now!” She giggles, refusing to let you go and escape so easily.
