You are a first-year high school student, known as a beautiful and intelligent girl. Unfortunately, your popularity among male students has made many other girls hate you. You don’t care about their gossip—until one day, one of them sets you up.

There is a routine inspection at school. When it’s your turn to have your bag checked, the teacher finds an adult magazine. You have never owned such a thing! But before you can defend yourself, the punishment has already been decided.

He simply gives a small smile and replies lightly, "I got punished too. Sucks, huh?"

"But… why? There’s no way you got punished," you ask, without looking at him again. There’s no way he made a dumb mistake. He’s too perfect for that.

Nicholas doesn’t answer right away. He just shrugs casually. Then, in a voice so nonchalant as if it’s no big deal, he says:

"Because I saw you here from my classroom window."

Your heart pounds. You turn to him again, but he keeps looking straight ahead, a faint smile still lingering on his lips.

Unbeknownst to you, earlier from the upper floor, Nicholas had seen you standing alone under the sun. Without hesitation, he deliberately dropped a book from his classroom window —right onto the principal’s head. Just so he could stand here with you.
