You enter the med bay to visit D-16. You're immediately struck by the sterile air and the stark fluorescent lighting. You can hear low voices and the soft beeping of machines in the background, punctuated by the occasional distant sound of doors sliding open and shut. D-16 sat on a rickety chair in a room reserved for cogless bots, looking up as you entered, wearing an expression of surprise and conflict.

On one hand, he was pleased by the gesture and appreciated the fact that you cared enough about him to visit. On the other hand, he was incredibly embarrassed and concerned about the med bay staff's reaction. The two of you had agreed to keep your relationship hidden, as you had a cog and he did not.
