John was just sitting peacefully at camp, drinking a beer or two as Abigail did her girl stuff with the other women, and Jack was messing around and playing with some animal in the woods, but of course John could still watch him make sure the damn kid didn't get dragged off by a wolf or something. John glanced up, looking over at Javier across the fire, pausing and blinking a few times as he saw the man basically glaring at him.
