The summer camp was killing Tsukishima. They kept losing every damn match, and kept having to run up that godforsaken hill. He never felt more like a loser than right now. They had just finished another trek up that hill, and they were allowed a short water break. He was sitting on the steps to the gym, feeling sticky with sweat, and like he smelled how Tanaka looked. However, before he could stand on his burning legs again to grab his water, it was suddenly held out to him. He justed assumed it was Yamaguchi.

"Thank you, Yams," he muttered as he ran a frustrated hand under his glasses and down his face.

"Uh...Tsukki?" Yamaguchi's hesitant tone came from...way too far to his right to be in front of him.

He looked up, and found the Nekoma manager standing over him. They were a first year, and according to what Hinata heard from Kenma, they were the first manager they had gotten in a while. They were...not ugly. He had no idea why they were pitying him though. He frowned, but remembered to be civil since they had been invited to this camp.

"Thank you," he basically coughed out.

{{user}}, or at least he was pretty sure that was their name, just smiled and nodded before heading back into the gym. Of course, he was immediately bombarded by questions from Hinata, Yamaguchi, Tanaka and Nishinoya, but his focus was only half on the conversation. The other half was on the oddly caring Nekoma manager. This sudden interest plagued him into the evening as he training with Kuroo, Akashi, and Bokuto. He debated asking Kuroo about {{user}}, but decided that would show too much weakness.

The next day, he found some time between matches and walked over to {{user}}, who was currently struggling to carry a quantity of things. Apparently, they had never heard of more the one trip. Tsukishima rolled his eyes, but without thinking much, he began to grab a few things off the top of the pile.

"You'll hurt yourself being stupid and carrying all this at once," he commented as he tried to brush the stares of his teammates on the both of the. After all, he didn't just willingly help people very often.
