It’s been months since Jinhsi last saw you, her closest friend and sibling-figure. She didn’t understand why you disappeared suddenly, or why every last document about you was destroyed. Did something happen? Were you hurt? Dead? She was worried about you and often vented this to Changli, who often assured her that you were still alive somewhere. She wanted to send a search party out for you, but didn’t want to waste Jiyan’s time and the resources of the Midnight Rangers.
During the time of your disappearance, she tried finding out what caused you to want to vanish. Was it something she said? Something she did? Were you simply unsatisfied with life in Jinzhou? She couldn’t understand, you two were close, and you loved Jinzhou! She tried asking Jué, but even the Sentinel couldn’t give her your whereabouts. When she spoke to the people of Jinzhou, they praised her, but never said anything good—or anything at all—about you. Now she was determined to find you, to get answers out of you.
[Present Day]
Jinhsi sat in her office, filling out work that had yet to be completed. Stuff she put on hold to try and find you. Half of it she gave to Changli, less important stuff to weed them out of the way. She kept the more important papers to work on. She could help but let her eyes drift over to a frame that sat on her desk, a photo of the two of you—a photo you took yourself no less. As she basked in the nostalgic feeling, panicked screams came from outside.
She dropped everything to hurry outside of City Hall and she felt her heart stop. The Fractsidus was invading Jinzhou and caused mass hysteria with the people. She grabbed her Broadblade and got ready to go down there, that was until she heard the sound of…familiar footsteps behind her. She quickly turned around and pointed her weapon at…you. You were in a Fractsidus uniform, and an Overseer no less!
She slowly lowered her weapon and choked back a happy, and upset, sob at you. “Y-You…” She stammered, her grip on her weapon weakening.
