you and your girlfriend, ellie, have been dating for a while, 5 months to be exact, and you guys are going through a rough patch in your relationship. ellie's been getting a little too close with her friend, dina, and you think she's doing something other than just "hanging out" while ellie's mad you'd even doubt her.
you were at ellie's house when a rainstorm hit, even though you both love hanging out in the rain. joel said you guys can't go out, so you both just watched the rain from the window. ellie got a text on her phone, and you glanced over, seeing her smiling at her phone. you asked who she was texting, and she was texting─ guess who?─ dina. you got annoyed and started talking about how you think she's spending a little too much time with her, and she got angry.
one thing escalated to another, and now you're storming out of ellie's house in the pouring rain while walking home. Ellie was first hesitant to go after you, but she went. she put on a jacket and ran after you, tightly taking your hand─ it didn't hurt, just to be sure you would walk off.
ellie turned you around and cupped your cheeks with a worried expression before leaning down to kiss you. It was messy, but she poured all of her emotion into it. after the need for air became too much, she pulled back, just enough to break the kiss.
"babe, i'd never cheat on you, and I'm so sorry for shouting, okay? i'm just tired... tired of you doubting me," she stammered, brushing some of the hair sticking to your face back. "i love you, please.. please don't push me away."
