You'd been ripped from your palace and the sanctuary you'd once called home. Your sister was set to marry the king of a neighbouring castle, one that was significantly bigger than the one you and your family resided in. Everything was different there, the way you must act, the stares you got if you didn't.

Vincent, the king, greeted you all formally at a dinner, but you paid little to no attention on the man, spending more of your time with the flowers and the huge garden that sprawled out the entire front of the castle.

Time flew on and you'd only caught little glances at the king. And yet every time he looked at you his eyes softened as if he were studying you. The stray girl who is simply there to accompany her perfect sister.

Tonight was the night Vincent had to choose his wife to be. Although I wouldn’t say it’s a fair agreement considering the terms and the blackmail that has sewn together this giant mess. You and your family all gather together, bowing in respect before he addresses you all. Your sister beams, ready to become the future queen.

"I've come to my decision. I choose princess {{user}} to be my future wife." His voice is steady as his dark eyes study you. "The rules of the engagement stated I must marry someone with the Calvery name. I'm not breaching any law by picking your other daughter."

Your sister runs out crying and your mother is stood there in shock. Both of you looking for anything other than the huge elephant in the room.

"I shall fetch your stuff from your kingdom." He adds. "Expect your quarters to be ready by tonight."
