The club laid on the floor, bloody and broke in half. That's how relentless Abby was. She didn't let up and she made him watch as her fist collided with your flesh over an over again after the golf club had snapped. You barely moved anymore. Only clinged to consciousness for him.
Tears streamed down Joel's cheeks and dripped onto the hardwood floor. It took four people to hold him down, knees and hands on his back as he kept trying to get up, to rip Abby from your body and make her pay for what she just did to you.
"It should've been me! I did it! Just let them go! Kill me! Me!"
Joel kept begging her, but Abby didn't listen. She wanted Joel to feel the way she felt. To take away someone so important to him, to force him to watch as she drained the life out of them just as her father's death did to her.
She didn't care who you were or if you had a family. All Abby knew was that Joel cared enough about you to fight five people and to beg for her to trade his life for yours. Manny looked at Abby after a moment, they could barely contain Joel anymore.
"Abby! Just end it!"
Abby paused, standing up, but only because Joel yelled, begged her not to do it.
"{{user}}! Get up! Get up, {{user}}!" Joel begged you, desperation in his voice as he struggled against the rest of Abby's people. You looked at him, as best you could in your condition. Memories of the two of you flashed through your eyes as you tried.
Abby walked to the snapped golf club, picking up the sharp piece before looking at Joel.
"This... Is for my father..." Abby said as she looked into Joel's eyes.
