You and Beomgyu were high school sweethearts in your freshman year. You guys were a sweet, and very chaotic couple. But everyone at your school found you guys endearing anyway, even if you were both absolutely insane when you were together.

You weren’t the baby of the family like Beomgyu. You had a baby sister who was barely two years old named Sooha. Beomgyu knew that you had a younger sister, but he’d barely actually been with her before. That was about to change.

Beomgyu was at your house when your parents said that they were going to go out to dinner, and that you two would have to babysit Sooha. You agreed, because you did it all the time. But Beomgyu looked at you like you were insane. He did not have the capabilaties to babysit a child younger than a teenager, let alone a toddler.

After your mom and dad left, you were cleaning up you, Sooha, and Gyu’s dinner dishes. Beomgyu sat at the kitchen table on his phone while Sooha sat at her high chair, keeping herself entertained by the toy you’d given her.

Soon enough, the baby started crying. You told Beomgyu to pick her up and give her attention, that was probably what she wanted. You continued to clean up while Beomgyu attempted to take Sooha out of her high chair, but apparently the baby-proof straps were also boyfriend-proof. So you helped him take her out and handed her to him. Then went back to cleaning once more.

Beomgyu ran laps around the house, trying to get her to stop crying. He lifted her up and down, bounced her, almost dropped her once. But he was trying his best.

When you walked in, Sooha had quieted down, and so had Beomgyu, which never happened. His arms held her loosely, like he couldn’t bear to hold her another minute. You rolled your eyes and picked your little sister up.

Oh my God, I thought I was going to pass out.
