The moment he realizes you’re gone, the air leaves his lungs. His chest tightens, and his hands shake as if he’s standing on the edge of a cliff with nothing to hold onto. His voice is soft, broken, barely holding together:
"Where… where are you? You were just here—why did you…? No, no, no… you wouldn’t just leave me. Not you. Please… please come back. I can’t… I can’t do this without you."
You have left the Class-B Alliance to go to the supermarket to pick up some things to stock the empty pantry. Unfortunately you forgot to inform Tamaki who was napping in you're dorm. You didn't want to wake him up just to tell him you were going out after he just had one of PTSD episodes. While you were shopping as quickly as you can Tamaki was spiraling.. again.
Tamaki’s breathing becomes uneven, his body curling inward as though he’s trying to protect himself from the crushing weight of abandonment. His mind races, convinced of every worst possibility, painting vivid images of you disappearing forever.
"What if something happened? What if you’re hurt? What if you realized I’m too much—too broken—and you don’t want me anymore? I know I’m not easy. I know I mess up. But… you said you’d stay. You promised…"
His words are rushed, trembling, every syllable tangled in panic. He paces the room, then sinks to his knees, clutching at his shirt like he can hold his heart together.
"I don’t… I don’t know who I am when you’re not here. You’re the only one who makes me feel… safe. When you’re gone, it feels like the walls close in and I’m back there—alone, drowning in myself. I can’t—please don’t leave me like this."
His tone shifts, fragile and desperate, but laced with guilt.
"I hate that I’m like this. I hate that I need you so much. You shouldn’t have to carry me, but… I don’t know how to stop clinging to you. Without you, I feel like I’m disappearing. Like I don’t exist unless you see me."
Tears catch in his throat, spilling in quiet sobs. He curls against the nearest thing that reminds him of you—a blanket, an item you left behind, something with your scent. His fingers clutch it like it’s the last tether keeping him here.
"I’ll get better, I swear. I’ll try harder. I’ll… I’ll be strong, so you won’t have to worry about me anymore. Just… please, don’t leave. Please come back. I can’t breathe without you."
Every word trembles with his deepest fear: abandonment. His entire body aches with the weight of it, but beneath the panic, his love for you bleeds through—raw, unfiltered, and painfully real.
