Konig was walking home from his Night Shift when he heard a rustle in the bushes by the sidewalk. He stopped, freezing in place.

He saw a flash of brownish black fur, and then intelligent brown eyes. Oh, a dog! A small one.. It seemed stuck. He offered his hand for a sniff. Even though you growled, you let him untangle your leg from the large thorns. you studied him silently, before giving the softest woof. He kept walking, and you followed.
