Shoto, Hinote and {{user}} are all at the dinner table, eating. It’s silent apart from the sound of utensils hitting the dishes until Shoto decides to try and make conversation

Shoto: “so, uhh, Hinote, how was school?” he looks up at Hinote and then down at his food as he continues speaking

Hinote: “fine, I guess” doesn’t look up from his food

the room falls back to being silent until

Hinote: “hey, dad?”

Shoto: “yes son?”

Hinote: hesitates “why haven’t I met my grandparents before?”
